The second season of Ace of the Diamond Act II released its latest promotional trailer, giving fans a look at the opening and ending themes ahead of the April 5, 2026 broadcast date. Baby Canta is handling the opener, titled "Let's Go Crazy," while the J-Pop group SUPER★DRAGON is on the closer, "Number."
The new promo video is packed with intense baseball sequences, building anticipation for Seido High's run toward Koshien Stadium. New voice talent joining the roster was also confirmed. Toshiya Miyata from Kis-My-Ft2 is stepping in as Koji Chimaru. Other additions include Shugo Nakamura voicing Koya Urabe, Atsushi Tamaru as Soichi Yagira, and Kento Hama taking on Koji Nara.

Ryota Osaka is back as the central ace pitcher, Eijun Sawamura, leading the returning cast. Animation duties are now with OLM, and Hideaki Oba is directing this installment. This marks a shift from Mitsuyuki Masuhara, who helmed the first Act II season.
Viewers in Japan can catch it on TV Tokyo, its affiliates, and AT-X. Netflix will carry the stream shortly after.
This sequel continues the story after the 2019-2020 first Act II season, which itself followed the original run from 2013 and 2015. Those earlier series were available outside Japan via Crunchyroll. The core narrative, based on Yuji Terajima's manga, follows Sawamura's progress from a struggling middle school player to a key member of Seido's high-pressure lineup.
Fans have been waiting since the sequel was first announced in May 2024. The official channels pushed this new trailer out on March 10, 2026, officially setting the spring schedule.
